Artist and designer Jerome A. Levin designed a garden retreat that both children and adults can enjoy. Measuring a mere 125-sq ft, this tiny abode packs a lot of technology and comfort. Boasting a study area, an entertainment space, surround sound, in-wall speakers, wiring, surveillance and intercom, iPod connectivity, and handcrafted collapsible oak loft bed and furniture, the tiny house was thoughtfully designed to maximize its usable space. This microhouse, or Metapod as Levin calls it, can also be adapted for use as a sustainable, affordable, and off-grid housing alternative. + Jerome A.
